Spis/Docs

CLI command

spis catalog-type

Create, edit/rename, or remove one managed `*-examples` catalog.

Invocation#

bash
spis catalog-type <add|edit|remove> <slug> [flags]

Create, edit/rename, or remove one managed *-examples catalog.

Subcommands#

  • `add` — create an empty catalog scaffold.
  • `edit` — edit metadata or rename the catalog.
  • `remove` — permanently remove a catalog.

Inputs and options#

  • Choose the add, edit, or remove leaf. Slugs normalize to *-examples and must be lowercase kebab-case.

Output and state effects#

Every successful leaf mutates catalog files and re-executes spis generate-example-catalogs to refresh indexes.

Refusals#

These messages are emitted by the current Rust implementation:

  • No leaf is refused with usage: spis catalog-type <add|edit|remove> <slug> [flags].
  • An unknown leaf is refused as unknown catalog-type command: NAME.
